Auburn, IN Thunderbolt 1003 Pictures

Here is a Thunderbolt 1003. It is an ordinary T-bolt, but it looks nice!

It looks like it just got painted, the support pipe is mounted on the pole, everything that controls the siren is on the ground fenced off, and it looks like it will be servicing for decades to come.

Aren't they the ones who put a Model 5 housing on their ACA screamer? Or am I thinking of a different one?

Yes. They also are the only ones in NYS to my knowledge that still use the HI/LO signal on their 1003s.

In case anyone was wondering, Auburn has 4 1003s, 4 older (early 90s) 2001s, an STL-10, SD-10 and a T-128.

That's a cool system, older growling and raspy sirens, mixed in with a touch of higher pitched modern sirens.
