Miscellaneous Siren Photos Thread

Here are a few:
Scotia Fire Department (I'm pretty sure the SD-10 was used as a CD siren, the Sterling M is the main siren, and the diaphone is the backup/extra carrying power siren)
Image
The Duanesburg Volunteer Fire Department STL-10
Image
The mysteriously inactive Model 5 at the Wells Fire Department
Image
Another Duanesburg STL-10 picture
Image
An STL-10 in Albany County
Image
A (poor) shot of one of the Whelen 4004s(?) in Schoharie County
Image
Model 5 at a Fire Department near Cobelskill FD

Nice pics. I'm glad you got some of the Allertronics from Garland. first pics I've seen of them. The P-10 at the army base is gone replaced by the new Whelen system.

There was actually another rotating Allertronic that was removed before I was able to see it in person. I guess sirens really do grow on trees.

Here's what's left of the P-10.

Yes that was the one on Glenbrook Dr. all grown up with brush. They were used for flooding when Duck Creek would come over it's banks quite frequently. That's why all the Allertronic's were positioned creekside.
