Hi, I've been wanting to know for quite some time what Kansas city's CD siren consisted of before they installed 2001's and Modulators. I know from what my mom and dad have said is that they had some thunderbolts, and in the movie ''The Day After'' that they possibly had 2t22's. If anybody can shed some light on this, the help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a Chrysler on the building at Independence and Hardesty.

There's a gridfaced Tbolt on some sort of bank building in Independence.

And lastly, there's a Thunderbolt on the Wyandotte County courthouse.

Those are all of the ones I know of, there could be more, though...

I know this doesn't pertain specifically Kansas City, MO but since a WYCO siren was already linked to, does anyone here know where this siren is/was?

I knew about the thunderbolt in independence. It is a jailbar grill thunderbolt, so it has to be very old. There is barely any yellow paint on it left and it is just turning into rust. That also means that the building it is on is at least from the fifties. Next time I am in KC I will go see if I can get on the roof to check it out.
