This topic has been posted very late because I was very busy.

My father had to go back to Macon on 1/17/14 because he had stuff to do... So I went with him. Before I siren hunted and when I got in Macon. I decided to stop by a 2001-SRN at Macon-Bibb Fire Station #11. When my father got the stuff done. I start to siren hunt. After I photographed the 2T22 in Gray. My father wanted to drive me home without taking the interstate I-75 because my father was worried if we hit the Atlanta, GA slow traffic... Since my father didn't take the interstate. I saw a lot of sirens.

Anyway, here are the photos:

^Federal Signal 2001-130 located in Gray, GA near to a water tower and near to a library(?).

^Federal Sign and Signal STH-10 and a Model 2 located in downtown Madison, GA at City Hall. The STH-10 is active, used as a tornado siren. The Model 2 is
decommissioned because the STH-10 replaced it.

Interesting how they stamped the pole of that 2001.

They do that on all concrete poles.

Nice to see the 2t22 is still looking good.

I wonder why they decommissioned the Model 2?

You guys did really great work on that 2T22, Jeb!

The Model 2 is decommissioned because the STH-10 replaced it.

I meant why they replaced it with a STH-10....

a reasonable assumption would be that they needed greater coverage. A Model 2 is pretty weak, after all.

The siren is actually at Bishop park. You were up in my neck of the woods.
