After talking to the son of the owner of HOR I believe I have one, if not the only remaining HOR Air Raid Siren timer controls. This control works perfect and has not been opened since it was orig installed in 1949. Here are some pics...enjoy.

Yes, there was both Sterling in Rochester (Western NY) and HOR in NYC.

Mark....since I was a kid in the 60's I knew this timer existed in my hometown Police dept dispatch room...I remember being like 11 or so and asking the cop on duty how does the air raid siren by my house get blown from the PD...he opened the half door and showed my this very timer and explained that a test was coming up in 2 Saturdays and if I wanted to see it work and if he was on duty he would show me. Well I arrived 1/2 hr early and watched him switch to ALERT and then hold the silver button... red light comes on, and then in the distance I heard all 4 sirens...Fastforward 50 years...I go back to my hometown/home state to fix the ailing Fire Horns (air horns) and casually ask if I can have the siren timer...sirens long since disconnected...they said take whatever I want...Took the whole W.E nwas system with original phone, buzzer and light indicator...all in mint condition...what a great day!
