They have a mixture of old ACA sirens and newer ASC Sirens with ASC Controls. They are standardizing on T-128s on steel poles with ASC Controls.agrotred40 wrote:What was the original setup?RichardRoe wrote:Nine Mile Nuclear station will be updating their siren system this year to ASC T-128s.

I was thinking the same thing, I live only 30 miles from nine mile, so I could possibly snag one if I wanted. Unfortunately, those sirens are nuclear plant property, so I would imagine that would be a big NO. I Don't even know where I would keep one, let alone use it for. I could put one back in service at my firehouse as a fire siren, That would be AWESOME, but we haven't had an audible since our old diaphone got disconnected back in about 2000 due to complaints, and I am sure our neighbors would be a PITA about us putting a siren up.Mark N wrote:Where are all the old sirens going?
