"Try" because I am a young one with no credit… You are right I don't need a license to fly one but nobody finances it and well… They are a bit pricey unless you put one together. And yea I think the highest class airspace I can fly in with an ultralight is class Delta. Charlie and Bravo… I don't think they have a rating for those with an ultralight but LSA can fly into charlie because they are not limited to 55 knots. Anyways sarry to go off topic but yea… There is that. Anytime man. If you need me just whistle.

I remember having helped restore a Chevy big block that was seized and rusted beyond belief. Yours will probably take a dedicated engine shop and some good $$$ to bring back to life, but I'd go for it! And while the engine is probably a no-go until a good fix, I'd imagine the blower is probably okay for the most part, basically a set of rotors having sat in a housing the whole time. But we'll see how bad or good it is. Good luck and congrats! 8)

At least the engine has been some sort of hood. The blower is actually the part I was wondering about because it has a big air intake on the front that's been open to the rain for, what, probably 50 years. If that blower has had a foot of water in it for 20 or 30 years what condition could the rotors be in????
Hopefully all major components will be able to be saved.
