This is the kind of video you only get once a year. Lenawee County's Siren drill was earlier this evening at 5:55. This is the only time of the year all the sirens in the county are tested. This Thunderbolt 1003 is located at the Fire Dept. in Hudson, a town on the western border of the county. The town also has a new 2001-130 about a mile north east of this Thunderbolt. The wind was being tricky again today and messed with the camera a bit, but its not too bad. Pics are from a few months back on a sunny late fall day. Enjoy! 8)

Nice, that wind down was a real treat!
Did it try to do hi/lo at the beginning?

I'm thinking this thing was manually set off and someone was messing around in the RCM 3 and bumped the flasher switch into test mode. Its the only reason I can think of why the solenoids were operating. And yeah not often to get a wind down like this one. It just rattled everything in person.

Those solenoids are louder than I thought. I can clearly hear them go thunk-thunk-thunk-thunk-thunk-thunk-thunk. Nice. Would have been a treat for those to keep going as the siren actually activated.
