I seen a news story that Quapaws storm siren ( a whelen) was blown down during the storm. this must have been a new one because the last time i went through there they had 2T22's.

It was the tulsa news outlet. i believe news6. The siren i observed on streetview looked like one of those small whelens. i am not very keen on model numbers but ii believe it was a four speaker cell type. was a whelen though.

That takes some wind speed to blow that HPSA away.

I saw this the other day. The fire station took a direct hit from the tornado, and the cells on the Whelen were ripped off the pole mount.

I was gonna say, given that the fire station was pretty much completely demolished by the tornado, it's no surprise that they lost the siren.
