Whelen Roofmounts?

Hey everyone Im new to the board and I have a question about whelens. Can wps 4004,Vortex, and 2900 series be mounted on a roof?

Yes. Not the best example, but its the only one I know of.

Yes, they can be. The University of Michigan, has a WPS2910 on their North Campus, which is mounted on top of a tall building. They use a special roof mount, which allows it withstand high-winds. The next time I am up in that area, I will attempt to take a photograph of it.

The town of Glastonbury CT installed 2 2902 last September, replacing a 12 port 5 at ststion 2 and a 5T at station 1. They also have 2 roof mount 2740s. I'll get some pics of the 2902 on station 2 (the one on station 1 is in a tower and hard to see) next time I'm down that way. I have a pic of station 4s 2740 somewhere on this computer, I'll dig that up.
