KPC NEWS: ALBION — The town of Albion is seeking grant money to replace its aging tornado sirens, some of which date from World War II, when they served as air-raid warnings.
The project should cost around $65,000, which also will cover removal of existing sirens. Town officials have been planning for it since 2005, but so far budget constraints have not allowed them to launch it.
I bet they're thinking about the Model 7 by the courthouse. Bye bye Model 7, Model 2s, and ACA Screamer.
This isn't the full article, but I read the full article in the newspaper that they're looking to get T-128s.
