Normally, I wouldn't post a video in the main forum, but I ran a search and didnt see any thing related to this video, and feel it is a rather important find.

Looks similar to a general electric siren. anybody have any pics of the other siren on the Ferry building?

Wow! Glad you posted this. As Siren_Dude has pointed out, this siren has been discussed before. I'm very glad to see one of these sirens has been restored.

That's a interesting siren for sure. It almost looks and sounds like a mix between a single tone ACA and an SD-10.

There is another one like this on display at a fire station somewhere in Marin County, possibly Larkspur.

Daniel, I believe you are talking about a General Electric siren, in which the chopper is in the lower horn itself. I haven't been able to find that picture in years and years.

Gotta love the characteristic rasp of those tall rotors, sounds just like a Sentry.
