Sanger, TX T-135AC is down...

Sun Jul 06, 2014 10:41 pm

Last week on my train ride to Fort Worth to visit my girlfriend, I noticed something odd ahead. When we went by it, I realized it was an ASC T-135AC just sitting on the ground right next to the tracks. I would later find out that it was the one installed right off the interstate. Travis went hunting for it the other day but I never heard if he had any luck. Cory was able to find it and he asked me to upload these pics for you guys since he is no longer with us. It's damaged pretty bad at the back and there is standing water in the motor. Gee wonder why with how it's placed...

All photo credit goes to Cory. If for some reason you can't read and that wasn't clear above, now it is.

Looks like its been down for a while now. Probably got blown down in the storms a few months ago. I should hear back on the thing tomorrow some time.

If I had to guess, the giant horn was facing into the wind and it got knocked over.
