Lucas County, Ohio Siren History

This is my first visit to your boards, and I'm hoping you guys can solve a mystery for me. Lucas County, Ohio currently tests its sirens first Fridays at noon. I'm nearly certain, however, that until twenty years ago or so it was first Saturdays. Can anybody confirm this for me?
