Siren pics from Maine trip (August 9 - 16, 2014)

Tue Aug 26, 2014 4:40 pm

Sorry for the late upload. I have been trying to post these pics for quite awhile. These are a few pics of sirens from my annual trip to Camden, Maine. There are hardly any sirens around there. Mostly diaphones. But I did manage to get pics of the only sirens I know of up there.

First, we have a low-mounted Model 2 in Lincolnville:

Next is this Model 5/7 in Rockport:

And this Sterling M in West Rockport:

There is also an STH-10 in Vinalhaven. I did not go there this year, but my uncle took this picture and sent it to me:

You need to upload the pictures to a picture hosting site like Photobucket or Flickr to post them. You could also use the file attachment uploader at the bottom of the posting screen and embedding them into the post. We can't view pictures on your computer because we aren't connected to it.

*sigh*

Here we go again. Rant time...you must enclose any URL you post here with , or it will not work. I repeat, it will not work.

Please guys, learn the software before I have a coronary over this.

That said...as Jason mentioned, this is exactly the sort of thing that will score bonus points with us. Especially since Maine seems to be relatively uncharted waters in terms of sirens.

I will try to do that, but it's hard since I'm still on probation. But you can look up Meadowridge99 on photobucket. That's my account and you'll find them there.
