There was also a really cool video of one going in High Low, but I could not find it. Funny, the one test I've been to, they were tested in wail...
Edit: even more odd, they test in air horn. It also appears some of the sirens are used for fire calls and 3 have voice capabilities:

Well heck, I see the problem already.. they built a Rocky Balboa dam... should have went with the Appollo Creed dam (oh I kill me)

That's pretty much what was on my fathers mind too, since they lost their house in the flood of '96.
