This is a collection of pictures from several trips to local volunteer fire stations to see there various sirens:
This is an STH-10 mounted in the parking lot of the Hastings,PA Fire Station:
This is a starting station for the same station right next to one of the bay doors:
A Federal Signal 3T22 on a pole behind the Dauntless Fire Station in Ebensburgh,PA:
I have a few pictures of a Sentry 10v behind the Hope Fire Station in Barnsborough,PA:
Finally a Sentry 3v8 mounted on a platform on the roof of an old fire station in Patton,Pa:
I would like anybody's opinion on these pictures.

Hey I reconize most of these sirens but the 3V8 in Patton, but then again it replaced an old siren there, and also Patton has a Sterling 8/8 port in their bell tower. I haven't been there since 2008. Also did you look around for a Model 5 in Northern Cambria (Not Spanglers)?
Patton's Old siren:

I do believe Barnsborough (Hope Fire Department) uses a Model 5 as well as there Sentry 10v. And Spangler uses a Model 5 and a Model 3

I have to ask do you have any idea what the Sentry 3v8 in Patton is used for because I've heard a number of things.

It's most likely used as a remote fire siren like Westwood's Federal Fire Siren.

Why do you mean by remote fire siren? Like to call all the volunteers?
