Model D Restoration

Thu May 03, 2007 9:48 pm

Well after a month of searching for my camera cable, i've finally found it!
Here's the pics of my model D restoration. The pics are pretty self-explanitory,
so I've just uploaded them to my web album.

The siren was previously orange, and now its yellow.

Any questions or comments, just post. :)

They were used as general alarms. Factory alerting, Military alerting (Navy uses model AX), fire alarm, fire station traffic clearing alarm, and sometimes as a small air raid siren.

I would cut out the protective ribs which divide each stator port, then file the surfaces flush with the stator.
You won't be putting your fingers in the ports, and I doubt any birds would enter the stator ports.
