The Siren Board

After scouring the internet for many months I finally found a Federal Signal SS2000D siren encoder! And upon opening the box found that it was part of the old 3 Mile Island system! It came with keys and a power supply and works great.

Was this the one on ebay?

They are cool. Last winter I bought a SS1000 and I like it. If you don't mind me asking what voltage does it run off of?

I wish I would have seen that on Ebay, I have lived in the 10 mile EPZ basically my whole life and have multiple family members who have worked at Three Mile Island... heck my mom was pregnant with me and worked at TMI when the accident happened. This would have been a nice item to have, if you ever decide that it no longer has a place in your house.. would you please give me first dibs to purchase this from you?

Sorry, Cory already has first dibs, but you will be second! It is defiantly one of my most prized possessions, I plan on keeping it around for good. I'm glad other people like it though

Did this activate the old cyclones? I think they had a change in activation in the early 2000s. If so, did they use this up until last summer when they stopped setting the cyclones off? I WANT ONE. I NEED ONE.

Yes this one was one of several that could set off the cyclones. I just got it a few month ago, the guy who had them sold the rest. It has the counties of Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Lancaster and York on it. The other ones were getting re-programmed and going back into service elsewhere I was told. They were bought by a siren company.

I can't outbid Corey and I know that, he appears to have more money than Jesus but I am hoping that you or him will see the value to me of this item LOL. I will even include a hand snapped picture of TMI as a gift
