Fri Dec 12, 2014 1:24 pm

Found this interesting article about the siren we have seen but never in reality. It looks so beastly, hopefully a recording is found soon.

Here is the official website page for the "Defender", it isn't just a 3D Model after all.

Good god. I know it was mentioned in another forum post, but how big of a motor does it use with that small of a operator cabin?

That thing is massive! Looking at the spec sheet, it doesn't seem to be any louder than a 2001-130, Sentry 40v2t, or a T-135.

That's just about as big as the Chrysler Air Raid Siren. Maybe bigger. It's almost as big as the truck it's sitting on.

What is the point of having a cab? Or even a siren that big?

I know, right? It's not even as loud as the Bell Victory.

In the past, one operator experienced a pricking sensation in his thighs after standing only 30 metres away when turning on the siren

No, it sounds kind of muffled from a model 5 like design, but I could be wrong. Just doesn't sound like it with the big horn.
