Chryslers in Pittsburgh?

Sun Dec 28, 2014 5:01 am

On the Wikipedia page for the Chrysler Air raid siren, it seems to say that Pittsburgh had 10 Chrysler's and two were removed and put into private ownership. My question is: Is this just a typo and the city only had 2 sirens, if it does have 10 sirens how many are gone and were are the sirens now? I am aware of two sirens, both being taken from schools and put into private ownership.

All of the Chryslers have been removed from Pittsburgh, legendary siren and whistle man Harry Barry is one of the people who bought one and has it in private hands up by Erie. The rest have been removed and went to heaven sadly.... I have to make the trip up to Erie one day and see Harry's Chrysler (if he is still alive that is).

And will he just let anyone see his Chrysler or how do you contact him?
