Last night on AMC, I watched the 1958, Bert I. Gordon Sci-Fi low-budget thriller, "Earth vs. The Spider." Around 50 minutes into the movie, the giant spider goes on the rampage in town, and the local authorities set off the CD siren. The siren is a vertical designed unit, but sort of looks like a cross between a Model 5, but favors ACA more than Federal.
The movie will be televised again on Thursday, May 31 at 9:30 a.m. EDT. If anyone wants to take a look at the siren in the movie and identify it, please feel free to do so. It would be interesting to see what it is.
