This is a how-to on How to supercharge your boring MS-290 siren.

I have an MS-290 siren that supposed to run on 9 volts, and It's was boring and not that loud like a real siren, So I supercharged the siren.
To supercharge it, I ran it on a 12 volt NI-CD drill battery and It was very loud and it even sounds almost like a Carter siren!
and That's how to supercharge your boring MS-290 siren to a mini Carter-like siren.

I'm pretty sure the definition of "supercharging" a siren is Forced Induction- feeding a siren's intake with more air than the rotor pulls in naturally with a blower of some sort.

On the other hand, there are few members here that own these little sirens; most of us have real sirens, like Thunderbolts, Model 5s, 3T22s and what not.

Well to me, supercharging is making a siren more louder.
It felt like I was supercharging it.

I have one of those sirens I cut the finger guard out of the ports to make it louder and intake and ran it on a bigger transformer.

Supercharging means forcing more air into the siren. Running a motor above the rated voltage will only make it run faster and eventually burn it out.

The MS-290s can not really be supercharged by forcing air into the intake, because it has an unusual rotor design which doesn't allow the extra air to get chopped. I tried to supercharge my MS-290 once by hooking it up to a blower, but it actually muffled the sound, whereas all my other mini sirens about doubled in volume when hooked up to the same blower.

Really the correct definition would be to give more energy or power. In a nut shell anything to make it more powerful.

"More Power"
