Before you read this please note that I am NOT a city official or official at the University. I am collecting this information for me to present to local officials and media.
I am doing a research project for my City as to how much it would cost for them to install one Whelen WPS-2905 (along with the activation unit/computer activation software) at the University of Windsor (Ontario). I also need to know if anyone has a rough estimate as to what the average maintenance cost is over a 1 year period. This project is for me to present to the City Emergency Manager as the City looks into means of Mass Alert Dissemination.
Also if anyone knows the price of installing one Modulator II with 5 modules (and the activation unit and computer software as well) to see if the price varies between companies.
Thanks for the replies in advance!

I would ask what the city has budgeted before you even give them an estimate.

Thanks! Right now I am exchanging multiple emails with ATI. Awaiting a second response from Federal Signal.

Just about everyone on the board will tell you to stay far far away from ATI. If you're wanting a decent sized electronic siren, definitely go with the Whelen or Mod. Bryan on here does a lot of Whelen repairs and he can tell you how fair their prices are and how easy they are to keep maintained, especially the newer ones.
