I am wanting some info on the motors for single phase Model 2s. Primarily, the exact motors that are used. I would also like to know the specifications, and if there are any motors that are similar or have similar specifications that are currently manufactured. I would appreciate if you could cite a double-shafted motor. Thanks, and I appreciate it.

P.S., this is for information for a motor to use in building my own siren.

Federal made their own motors, there's no similar motor that'll properly fit any Model 2 or Thunderbolt.

Also, all Model 2/Thunderbolt chopper motors are single phase (and the Thunderbolt/Model 2 have the same chopper motor). They're actually Universal, they can run on AC or DC power.

Then do you know a double shaft single phase motor that has similar RPMs and HP?

Look at motor suppliers who offer a single phase 2 HP dual shaft motor.
