THATS THE PROTOTYPE T-BOLT SUSPECTED NOT TO EXIST.
Note the rounded blower and rotator covers.
THREE CHEERS FOR TRAINS AND SIRENS 1!!!
Heh, I was wondering how long before somebody else would find this and post it. What's even cooler is the man at the right of that primitive RCM setup is none other than the "father" of the Thunderbolt (and many other early Federal siren designs) himself, Earl Goswiller. I believe the man to his left beside the controls is the assistant Civil Defense director for Minneapolis, if I recall correctly. It would really be something if this early prototype still existed, but the chances of that being true are slim to none.TrainsAndSirens1 wrote:I found this on eBay today!
