I was wondering where I could find a small model A size siren for under $60. I have looked on eBay but those are way out of my price range.

Woa boy... Well it looks like you are in the pacific northwest eh? Try the fire stations. Like all of em. Some of the stations are replacing their model Qs for electronic sirens (Easier on the alternator) and they might be willing to let you have one if you ask around... Just don't over ask... Lol.

Most Oregon public school buildings from the 1940's-60's used Model A or equivalent sirens for fire alarms and for air raid alarms. Many are still in use. Try school district offices, since some may have been saved.
