Below is a video of a 3T22 in the town of Stanley NC being ran in a short attack cycle. The siren has not been in service for many years and the only time it is used is when it is sounded to mark the beginning of the Christmas parade. There is interest from the fire dept. to move the siren from its current location which is now the police station to the fire station. There it would be set up to run as a back up for the fire pagers and as a storm warning siren in the Gaston county system. We were testing it at that location to ensure the siren was healthy before being moved. It is ran off of an AF-2 timer. We were running manually with the test button and did not activate the timer.

Good to see you still around! I had figured with all of the volunteer departments being swallowed up by CFD, you had "retired". Looking forward to more videos and restorations from you.
