NYC Fire Truck Siren Help

Hello Everyone,
I was in NYC in March, I saw and videoed a FDNY truck responding. what type mechanical siren is this?

Could be a B&M Superchief, FDNY has some of those as well

That's an electronic "Q", though I'm not 100% sure if it's a Federal E-Q2B or one of Whelen's older models with the "Federal Q" sound (before they were sued by Federal for said sound). If that had been a real Q siren, or any mechanical siren for that matter, it would have had a lot more bite to it and definitely would not have been so quiet from the side when they hit the street and wound it up.

Most if not all of FDNY's new trucks will have EQ2B's on them. They reason why they have not been going with the regular Q2B is because of the power strain on the alternator.
