My United States Siren Map

Wed Jul 08, 2015 11:06 am

Hello, it's been a little while! Since summer started, Oldiesmann, VASirens, and I have been collaborating to create a nationwide siren map with (as of July 7, 2015) 5,400 locations and counting.

To get to the point and avoid an excessive explanation, here is the link to the United States Siren Map.

Hmm, quite an interesting spread. There are huge clusters of locations in the northwest, Texas area and above, and the midwest, with a few smaller clusters elsewhere.

It seems like there have been several attempts at making a map like this. Hopefully this one will actually go far. Feel free to use locations from my Ulster Country NY map. Haven't done much siren mapping lately 'cause I can't stand the new map maker.

Thanks! I also have a few doubts about the new Google My Maps, but it still gets the job done to the lightest extent.

Just a quick little refresher passing through. The map has surpassed 6,700 locations and is quickly closing in on 6,800 locations! Thank you all for your contributions! :D
