ACA P-10 Siren Alert Test - Florence, AL - 7-17-15

As you can see, the siren is also damaged. It must've happened recently as when I saw it back in March, the cone inside the projector was still attached to the rest of the siren.

I recorded this from atop the parking garage along Tennessee Street.

You can also hear another siren in the background as well, which I believe was the Whelen Vortex along US 72/US 43 near the Tennessee River bridge.

Lauderdale County tests on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, weather permitting.

That busted intake cone reminds me of Macon, Georgia's old Howler.

Nice test! Too bad the intake is busted!

I am surprised you haven't filmed the one battery backup Sentry siren in our system yet. As an added goodie, it gets a growl test 12:00, Tornado Warning (steady) 12:01 1 minute and an Attack 12:03 for 1 minute. It is a 16HP, instead of the 20V2T that you saw installed. I was wondering if you were doing a filming today. I manually did the growl test today for about 30 seconds or so to let the 2001's in the system rotate a couple of times.

I would've, if I hadn't been stuck in school today. Maybe next summer I'll go out and record the Sentry 16v1t-B.
