Attached is a photo I just took of a WPS-Series siren in Kilgore, TX, right next to the fire and police stations. I was on a delivery run, so I couldn't exactly stop for long.

Nice picture. I think that system was installed back in the mid-late 1990s. I am not sure what they had before, but I have driven through there twice, with the most recent being about 15 years ago, and remember seeing a few 2805s.

I really need to get in touch with someone from Tyler that can tell me what system they had before the Modulators, but I'm lazy :P

I'd imagine Federal Signal products of some type, just based on what some of the more significant cities around there used to have (i.e. Longview.) Kilgore intrigues me somewhat, as that picture you posted looks to be a double-pole, which can sometimes be indicative of ACA installations, most notably the P-50 and Cyclone series sirens.

They might have, you never know. I /do/ know that Whitehouse has some type of electronic sirens, but I can't figure out which brand. Imagine a EOWS 1212 arrangement, but with rectangular speaker housings. Could be an ATI, but I dunno.

You are probably talking about a Federal Signal EOWS-115, also part of the SiraTone series.

Went ahead and checked, and uhh, I've never seen anything like this before. Perhaps it's an early ATI? It has an ATI control box. (or so it seems) There's one at 1010 Senter Ave, 106 Walker Street, 10207 Main Street, and at Cain Elementary School.

I remember Tyler having a system of Whelen 3016's back in the 90's. Not sure if they're still there or have been replaced. Been awhile since I've been there.

I can't access streeview right now as I am on my phone, but ATI early sirens are literally a DSA with ATI boxes. Looks like a DSA from the satellite imagery.
