Hello,
I have seen a video on Youtube (courtesy of Calvin Mayer) of an HOR Super Sirex on top of the PNC Bank building in Downtown Toledo, OH. I am curious of the status of this siren and its location. Any one who knows of the status of this siren to inform us would be glady appreciated. :thup:

It's still in service. You said the location yourself... It's mounted on top of the PNC bank building in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Need I say more?

Yes it is very much still active. I work just up Madison Ave and see it every day.

As said above, it's active. I might try to get an ambiance of it and a 2001-SRN next time I can.
I can confirm that the siren is still in use. However, the rotation mechanism broke years ago and won't be repaired. We have more modern sirens in the downtown area, but since this one still works, we'll keep it powered until it stops working.

With that Toledo PNC siren being mounted so high on that skyscraper, I wonder how long it's sound range is from up there.

It can be heard throughout the downtown area, and across the river. I'd say the sound carries almost a mile and a half.
