The Siren Board

I got a decommissioned Thunderbolt today. I have just the horn and the parts of the control panel now, but I will be getting the blower and everything else later. I'm so excited!

Wow, very nice catch! Don't see people picking those up often. Have fun with that, what are you planning on doing with it?

I'm going to try to get allowed to run it along with my city's siren system. I'm not sure yet. I am going to repaint it CD yellow though. The location that had this siren painted it grey, but in the pictures above you can still see some yellow showing where the grey rusted/chipped off. And yes, I know it IS lead paint.

Great job acquiring this! I'm excited to see you restore it to a CD yellow when you're able to do that.

I honestly don't know what model of Thunderbolt this is. I'll find out soon when I get the rest of the parts trucked in. Hopefully the nameplate will be intact.
