Your'e not supposed to violate the rules in the first place. I doesn't seem like your'e off to a good start on here. That point aside, they were probably installed in or around the mid to late 90's would be my guess if they are first generation units.

If my years are correct, the T-128 came out in 1998.

Here is something that shows an early prototype. (If I remember correctly)
I think this one was made before the T-128 actually began production.
Ah yes the famous hawk video
Is the siren still up?

The first T-128 was installed in Random Lake, WI.
It looked the same as a normal T-128 besides the horn shroud's lips being lined in dark gray.
ASC replaced it with a production T-128. Here's a photo of the first T-128. https://www.flickr.com/photos/82981296@N06/7610636766
Dale A. Moeller commissioned the Tempest siren lineup, although it's been said that Jim Biersach helped out with the actual siren design.
From 1998 to 2006, ASC had a cartoon mascot named "Earl E. Warning" (AKA Big Mouth) to promote the Tempest sirens.
They even sold a mouse pad showing Earl alongside twisted cartoons of a Whelen 4004 and Federal 2001 siren.

If I recall correctly, the very first T-128s were somehow called Excel T-128s. There's one in Harrison Township, Ohio west of Cincinnati.

There may be a few around my area too, but they may have been restored T-128s done by Fulton...
