Apologies in advance for so many posts. I'm actually very surprised I found this Hurricane next to I-30 in Greenville just a moment ago.

There are two there. Was/still planning on trying to obtain one at some point.

Is it still active?

I don't think it's still active anymore. It still has a power connection, the service disconnect it on, and the horn is always in a different position when I see it in person (or see a picture of it). However, it didn't make a peep when I went out to record it, and the city doesn't know anything about it. Also, neither the Hurricane or the P-10/15 on the southern outskirts of town activated when SirenkiD recorded them on test day. I think the wind is just blowing the horn around.
Just out of curiosity, do these Hurricanes have a slip clutch assembly like the Thunderbolts? I would imagine they do, but I've never seen a picture of that assembly before.

Both times that I've seen it, the head has been pointing towards the interstate overpass.

The siren by the car dealership didn't have a blower in the box any time I have been by there.
It looked like the motor was still in place because the bolts were still in their slots on the blower plate.
The blower bolts were gone along with the blower air pipe so unless the blower fell down into the box (which I'm sure would have knocked the box off) there was no blower in there. The flex air pipe had completely rotted away so the coil wire was the only thing left.
Surely it's still in that condition. I can't imagine that anything was ever done with it. Here's what it looked like last time I saw it...

Does the one by the Majors Airport in Greenville still work? I know it has a P-15 right next to it but I didn't know which one is active.

From what i know, neither are active. The whole system was replaced with ATI's.

Which I believe are all now gone. At least the two ATIs I knew the locations of in Greenville are no longer there.
