I've been meaning to post this for a while, but during a storm chase, I discovered a very old siren in the town of Eads, Colorado. It is a Darley Model 5A, located at 13th and Slater, in downtown.

I am unsure if they test the siren, but it was a great find!

Interesting, looks like they also have a 16V1T-B that replaced an SD-10 at 11th and Goff, right in the center of town.

I see the SD-10 on Google's street view, but I don't see the 16V1T-B (at 11th and Goff). But on the satellite view, it looks like there is a 16V1T-B. I'll have to do a better check next time I am there. Thanks!

Yeah, the street view image is a few years older. Now that I looked through Haswell and Sheridan Lake in the same county, it looks like they both had SD-10's that looked in similar condition to the one in Eads. They have both been replaced by Sentrys as well, sometime between 2012 and 2014, according to the Google dates.

Do you know what model the Sentry sirens are in Sheridan Lake and Haswell?

I'm pretty sure both are 7v8's.

Could you give me an intersection of the siren location in Haswell?

Haswell also has that defunct Sterling looking siren on the little tower about 180 degress fromhe SD-10 on streetview.
