Historic Plaque

To start off, sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in.
Some of you may remember my post about the yellow Omni-Directional CLM, and how I stated that there was a forgotten Mobil Directo in the city.
About four years ago, I emailed the city to see if I could get a historical designation for the siren, and in mid-September I received an email from the head of the City of St. Catharines Historic Society and he told me about how my email got shoved a side and forgotten (a lot like the siren

) but one of the members read my email and took up the project, and earlier this week, the plaque was installed! I'm going to point out the looming branch over the siren, as one storm could damage the siren. This air raid siren is now a historical landmark, and has a safe non-scrapped future.

Nice!
You're right though, it does look like that branch could blow off.

I don't see how it is mobile, other than the rotation

It's supposed to say "Mobil Directo", but I guess someone thought "Mobil" was a misspelling of "Mobile".

Ahh, I see... I'll have to email that to get it fixed.
I even double checked the cities drafts of it before they sent it out.

I'm with you there, the man I was working with has been out of the office for a few weeks. I'm hoping to talk to him to get something done with that.

UPDATE:
The plaque will be replace at the expense of the manufacturer. It was not a city mistake.

Bump and a late update!!
This is the same city as the one with the yellow CLM.
Our local news paper did a story on the plaque and siren.
Here is a link if you'd like to read it:

Also, sorry if this is a misuse of a bump.
