unknown siren

I was told that this was a pre WWII air raid siren. http://www.tristatemv.com/images/fl_05_carter_siren.jpg. It has a Klaxon type handle and structure but the bell/horn is shorter than the K 10. Very loud and I mounted on a steel base on my jeep. Does anyone know what model and brand this is?
