The Siren Board

I was browsing through some old Floyd county newspapers recently and I found this...

They talk about Edwards co. (which I am assuming is Edwards Signaling) testing an Audalert siren in Rome, GA. Do we know anything about these sirens? Nothing came up on a Google search other than this patent, which was filed the same year as the paper: That's all I have for now, I will update this thread if I find out more. Thanks

Sorry about the bump, but in case anyone is interested, I have found another newspaper article of the locations of a fair amount of the fallout shelters in Floyd county. This might also give us a hint to where any of these Audalert sirens might be (if they have not been removed). I hope I could help anyone that is interested
