Pilgrim Nuclear Plant

I recently started mapping out the system of 113 EOWS and Modulators in the EPZ of the plant. Surprisingly there are still a few active 612s in their system. Sadly most, if not all, of the 408s have been removed and replaced with Mods in 2006. They use different sizes of Mods in the system, so far I found 6024/32s, 5020s, and 3012s. The 5020s and, to a lesser extent, 3012s replaced 408s with one found so far that was a new installation when it was installed. Chances are that the remaining EOWS sirens will stay since the plant will be closing in the next couple years. With 113 total there are bond to be more EOWS sirens in the system, so there is still a chance that a couple 408s were left in service.

It's nice to see that some of the original sirens are standing.

I'm sure there's at least one EOWS-408 that we'll find someday. xD

EDIT: I did some searching and found another EOWS-612 with some crusty UV controllers. It's at Ship Pond and Bog Hollow drive.

Update: 79 sirens found so far. I have found that in addition to 408s, a couple of 612s were replaced along with some 1212s and 115s. As a bonus for the cringe factor a number of them still had faded, black SiraTone panels. Another thing worth noting is that all of the remaining 612s look fairly new, likely installed in the very late 80's to early 90's. They still have a majority of the paint on the horns as opposed to the 408s and 1212s, so I'm pretty sure at this point that they replaced the oldest of the sirens back in 2005-06. All of the older SiraTones were more than likely replaced, so the chances of seeing any active EOWS other than the few 612s I've found are slim to none...
