Oh, I didn't knew that all 408 are gone. Thought there are some still standing around. :(

Thought the 812 was the 816. (408,612,816. A sequence)

I was confused too, but I saw a manual image which said 812, so i stuck with that

Here are the production years. The 408, 812, 115 and M*12 began production in 1975 and ended in 1985 in favor of the 612 and 1212. The 1212 was produced from 1985 until 1994 when the Modulator came out. I remember the 612 was still available upon special request around 2002-2005.

Where are you getting that 1975 date? That seems to be a misconception floating around here. The EOWS sirens are commonly agreed to have been rushed into production in the early 80s to compete with Whelen and all the documentation about the early, short lived EOWS sirens comes from the early 80s.

My guess is that he got that 1975 date from Wikipedia. Here is a picture from the page.
