The Siren Board

Hey all, today I went and picked up a Model 2 which I found on eBay. It is in rough shape but it fired right up when I put power to it. Per the seller, new brushes were recently installed. It is 1 phase, 220 volt. Stay tuned to see it's restoration process.

Congrats on your new siren! I remember seeing the listing for this Model 2 on eBay. If you need any help with your Model 2 just ask me.

Haha, yeah. It worked out quite nicely, instead of paying the $140 to have it shipped, I drove the 2 hours and picked it up myself. He has a Model L still for sale, I don't know if you are interested in that, though.

Nah, I was probably only gonna use the housing anyway since I don't have one for mine. The other housing that's on ebay has buyer requirements that I don't meet for some reason, so I'm not able to get that one.
