No. To my knowledge there are no modern videos of a stock bumblebolt going off.

EDIT: however, I do believe the Jailbar thunderbolt in Yakima WA was once a bumblebolt but there isn't anyway to tell until I see it up close.

They are pretty rare now a days indeed. More rare then the yellow ones yes yes... However not the rarest thunderbolt. The 2000 series I think is even rarer and I'm completely positive the 7000 series was the rarest of the bolts. I could be wrong though...

Correct, the 7000 series is the rarest model Thunderbolt. Unless the 7 Thunderbolts with round horns was real. I can't remember the details about that tiny project Federal did with it. I think I made a topic about it, but I can't remember what the outcome was.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm talking specifically about the Thunderbolts that have the Yellow & Black stripes (I originally said red & black but i just found out that they are yellow & black)
I'm curious because i've heard that those are bigger than the original Thunderbolts
Here is a recently installed one near me

Yup. It looks like the one Jeb and Ian installed. Not an original bumblebolt but looks great and is worth honorable mention! Mister thunderbolt it has taken every bit of restraint I have in my being to not make a "rarest thunderbolt known to man" joke...

This is slightly off topic but in lot of old Federal Signal Advertisements most from the early fifties, the rotator box and the blower covers all have that curved design but every thunderbolt recorded even the earliest of them show no sign of having this design. Whats up with that? (Sorry if this has been asked before. I get the nagging feeling that it has been explained but I am not 100% sure)
