As some of you may know, I acquired a 1978 Federal Signal 2T22B in the Fall of 2015. Over the past year that I've had it, I have been cleaning it up, making sure all the parts it has are in good, working order, making sure it runs as it should, removing the old paint, and re-painting it. Here is what I have gotten done thus far:
October 2015:
Siren after unloading it from the trailer:

Removing a few of the projector cones from the 12 port chopper:

Siren core:

All 22 of the projector cones taken off of the siren:

June 2016:
Stripping the paint from the 12 port chopper:

Stripping the paint from the motor itself:

Painting the 12 port chopper and prepping the motor for paint:

After painting the motor:

Stripping the paint from the 10 port chopper:

Core of the siren completely painted:

November 2016:
Stripping the paint from the top intake:

That's all for now. I will be updating this topic as the restoration continues.
