I found a model 5/3 that had an insane lean to it a while ago, The side of the pole it was sitting on had snapped, Pretty sure the shroud got destroyed from impact. In July/August this incident had happened.

So it fell off the pole?

I bet the cast stator probably shattered from that fall, so it's probably been melted down at a scrapyard.

It does look like it fell of the pole due to the crossbeam that it was sitting on is snapped, I wasn't there when the Incident happened.
Images below are of a proper removal

Are you sure it wasn't removed pending the replacement of the pole (as the new one is next to it)?

I'm pretty sure its not going to get replaced since its in NJ, It might since some towns/counties have some early warning sirens such as Fair lawn, They have whelen WPS2904 sirens placed around the town.

I'm talking about the pole, not the siren. The siren looks like it was removed before transfer of wire attachments to the new pole.

That post it is on looks like maybe an old telegraph-telephone pole. Those pegs are commonly seen with glass insulators (I should know, I collect them!). Was it near a rxr line by chance? sorry for being OT!

I don't think so.
