The Siren Board

Michael, August, and I headed to Indiana for a Hancock/Henry County dual siren test. Neither were a success, but we stopped at some sirens to make up for it. Here are said sirens, along with the ones we attempted to record:

Greenfield, IN: Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 (failed recording)




Dunreith, IN: Custer Electric Siren (failed recording, heard Spiceland's 7V8)

Custer Electric's sirens are still quite an odd bundle of electronics. Are the round horns the newer setups?

Greenfield's 1003 was installed in 1968
