My next picture for this thread is a Sentry Siren 40V2T in Litchfield Township, Ohio. This one is one of three 40V2T’s in Litchfield; the only Sentry 40V2Ts in the State of Ohio (and they still are if I recall correctly). These ones went up in the early 2000’s as they feature the older-style Sentry Siren logo on the control box and while these are older they have newer Federal Signal Radio Boxes on them which were installed around 2015 by Federal Field Services, the Northeast Ohio Federal Signal Distributor. This way they can be activated via FSK by Medina County Dispatch (most of the other sirens are Federal Signal in the county and they are activated via an FS controller, thus why they use FS radio boxes). The tones are actually heard on my video of this siren (which I recorded yesterday) coming through a speaker in the FS radio box, which was pretty cool to hear and you can hear them on my video. You can also see snow shoot out of the siren as well. These sirens have a red strobe beacon on top that flashes when the sirens are sounding but they do not work anymore sadly. These beasts pack a big punch and I was impressed as these dual toned sirens are extremely loud and they beat the 2001-130’s in the city I live in in a nearby county (not bashing the 2001 series by any means; they do an exceptional job and serve their purpose well), but this guy shook the ground a bit (which you can’t tell due to the wind anyways) and it wasn’t enough to move the camera. They are single phase, AC only sirens. Anyways if you want to see the video you can check out the thread in the videos section, but here’s the picture: (it’s supposed to be painted dark red (“fire truck red”) but the sun over the years has weathered the paint to make it look more pink than red).

I'm not sure how I've neglected to put these on here yet, but these 2 shots are from January's failed test in Heidlersburg,
PA. This freshly painted 2T22 came from a now defunct fire department nearby and was just installed within the last couple months.

Wow! Sirens with a lot of visible horns make for some pretty artistic shots, it's almost comparable to abstract artwork. Especially that 2T22 with the bright yellow against the blue sky backdrop. Awesome shots everyone

Here's 2 of mine I very much like. Notice the bullet hole in the 5T.
