Anyone going to set off any sirens for 4th of July? I will probably set off my Fed Sig VG and probably make a video of it.

I thought about giving a blast with the T-bolt..... Undecided. Let me see how much other noise and stuff is happening tonight. I don't want to be the only one "disturbing the peace."

The problem is, when exactly does one do this?
No time is appropriate. Exactly 12 Noon may be the least objectionable.

I didn't wind up doing it... We were out late, and it was all dead quiet when we got home... But I'll let 'er rip on New Years at midnight, and maybe I'll have the other T-bolt up & running before then too :D

Precisely Midnight New Year is fair game.
I would tune in WWV (the atomic clock) and blast from 00:00:00 to 00:01:00. National Bureau of Standards 303 499-7111
I test Lassie (2t22) exactly at 12:00:00 to 12:01:00 on the first Saturday of the month. So at least people can set their clocks to it.
Takes 2":38''' to wind-down.

That Sauks.
If you're going to do it, do it EXACTLY at Noon.

They wait untill 12.03 because of all the noon soundings They have to wait untill all the noons have gone off and they are never right at 12 [/quote]

What are you doing up at 3:46 a.m. Go to bed!
Why isn't their siren sounding simultaneously with all the rest.
I would like it if sirens were tested successively. Would be fun to hear distant sirens from all around without the closest covering them.
