West shore services shipping?

Mon Aug 28, 2017 3:34 am

So I'm in the market for a Thunderbolt and I wanted to know if West shore services would ship it to my house (or wherever I can pick it up) if I bought one out of their graveyard? I am in Texas and that is a long drive up there so I am curious.

No, it would be WAY too expensive, and it is very heavy, unless you want to pay an extremely high price

Unlike what the previous poster said, yes they do ship sirens via freight. It's not cheap but I suppose it's not bad considering the logistics of the operation. Best thing to do is call them yourself and ask.

Freight is also expensive too, just to let you know.

Do they only ship complete sirens or would they ship something like a Thunderbolt blower?
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

They'll ship you the whole damn yard if you'll pay enough. Jokes aside, I'm sure if you're willing to spend the money and are somewhat serious about what you want they will definitely look into shipping options. Don't expect anything to be cheap though.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

Keep in mind, you can't expect a complete Thunderbolt to float magically onto your front portch. WSS would need lot of muscle to lift the siren into a truck, drive hundreds of miles, and also lift the siren out of the truck. Also, you can't just say you want a Thunderbolt, you will need to know what pieces you would want and need lots of pictues if not go to WSS yourself.
In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!
